Do you have Press Brake Setter experience, and are you seeking a new job in Telford? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a busy sheet metal manufacturing business find a Press Brake Setter to work a 12 hour night shift Monday to Thursday, the role comes with an excellent salary up to £35,000 per annum and benefits package.

As a Press Brake Setter you will set and operate AMADA Brake Presses as well as other machines concerned with sheet metal production. Please be advised that this is working a 12-hour night shift which is Monday to Thursday.

As a Press Brake Setter, you will carry out the following day-to-day:

  • Loading and checking programmes as per the job sheet and selecting the correct materials
  • Loading and unloading parts into an Amada Press brake
  • Quality inspection of parts using equipment and gauges, ensuring they have been folded within tolerance
  • Working from engineering drawings to BS / ISO standards

To apply for this Press Brake Setter role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

  • Previous experience with setting and operating a Press Brake
  • The ability to interpret and work to engineering drawings
  • The ability to plan and work from one's own initiative, with minimum supervision
  • Previous experience of working from engineering drawings to BS / ISO standards
