  • Raise "program master record" (PMR) sheets as instructions on how to manufacture the part
  • Regular communication and coordination with CNC Section Team Leader, CNC Technical Lead, and other Model Making Centre teams to ensure understanding of progress with CNC parts, in particular required quality and delivery dates for the completion of CNC operations
  • Ensure the minimum direct (project) booking requirement is achieved using correct project booking codes for work completed
  • When on shifts, ensure a safe and timely handover of the work in progress to the incoming shift and team leader, ensuring that adequate notes and technical advice are available
  • Make recommendations for process improvement in CNC techniques, where appropriate, to the CNC Section Team Leader

To apply for this CNC Programmer role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include:

  • Highly proficient writing off-line 3 & 5 axis milling programmes using Delcam Powermill and Powershape (2018 and 2019)
  • Ability to write programmes for 5-axis milling
  • A team player, confident and capable of mentoring and coaching less experienced CNC Programming/Setter/Operating staff
  • Flexible and positive attitude, willing to go the extra mile to ensure that project manufacturing schedules are met or exceeded
  • Self-motivated and keen attention to detail, in terms of quality of work produced and adherence to the project schedule

As a vital member of the team, and in return for your expertise, and commitment, we'll provide a attractive salary and the chance to join a passionate and welcoming team.
