Project Management Engineer - 00766 - £29.60/hr PAYE

As a Project Management Engineer, you will prepare, manage and deliver the development programme to meet QCT (Quality, Cost, Timing) targets against the Master Schedule. You will also maintain an understanding and visibility of the vehicle development status against its performance metrisc, and communicate to line management and Assistant Chief Vehicle Engineer accordingly taking recovery actions where necessary.

In your first few weeks in this Project Management Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Direct the preparation for Milestone Meetings, working proactively and cross-functionally with all stakeholders to ensure a good understanding of the development status and prepare recovery plans when necessary.
• Coordinate cross-functional and cross-cultural global activities.
• Use your analytical skills alongside technical knowledge to prepare, develop and review engineering proposals and schedules.

To apply for this Project Management Engineer role, you will need an Engineering Degree (or similar STEM/Product/Industrial Design subject) or a country-specific equivalent AND engineering experience (automotive or similar industry). You will also require the following:

• High attention to detail with clear and precise reporting skills and the ability to present confidently to senior management.
• Technical prowess and keen curiosity in Automotive Engineering and Manufacturing, with an engineering background in vehicle development and a clear understanding of the development process.
• Experience of stakeholder, and vehicle development project management - as well as digital development, physical development and technical concern analysis.
