A new role has arisen with a client for a Service Engineer to join a manufacturing business in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. The Service Engineer role comes with a basic salary of £40,000 per annum, with overtime available and paid at T1/3 in the week, and double time on the weekend (and bank holidays).

Previous experience with heating equipment or boilers would be highly advantageous.

You will also be provided with a company vehicle, and any expenses / overnight stays (where required) will be paid by the company.

As a Service Engineer, you will be required to work away most of the week, and a typical start time will be between 6.00 - 7.30am.

To give you an idea of how this role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

• Be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and commissioning combustion equipment
• Deal with any electrical control and electrical system issues whilst on-site

To apply for this Service Engineer role, you will need proven electro-mechanical experience and combustion equipment experience. You will also require the following:

• An industrial or commercial gas qualification
• An apprenticeship or formal technical qualification
• A full driving license
• Previous Service Engineer experience
