Physical Properties CAD Engineer - 39262 - £31.28/hr umbrella rate

Do you have CAD experience, and are you seeking a new job in Coventry? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Physical Properties CAD Engineer, and the role comes with a umbrella contract rate of £31.28 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35).

As a Physical Properties CAD Engineer, you will primarily focus on prototype package models, supporting other activities related to the engineering and build of technology demonstrator properties and rigs.

You will be working in collaboration with build suppliers to create accurate physical models in challenging timescales, with accurate hard model modifications and prototype mechanism design and build.

To apply, you must be a proficient CAD user, trained on CATIA V6. The following are also required:

• Experience of solid and surface creation, manipulation and assembly
• Ability to create accurate physical models from Ureols, RP parts and provide accurate hard model modifications
• Ability to understand and integrate new technologies into existing or new vehicles
• Previous mechanism design experience.
