Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and Facility Technician to join our client's inclusive and friendly team. This full-time Facility Technician role is based in Basildon, Essex, and offers a salary of up to £42,000 p.a. and excellent benefits. This will be a 12 month fixed term contract.

As a Facility Technician, you will prepare, install, connect, service, maintain, and calibrate equipment in accordance with given procedures.

In a typical week, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation, installation, connection, service, maintenance, and calibration of equipment in accordance with given procedures
• Working with and updating service and maintenance schedules
• Controlling and regulating the facilities to ensure the optimal operating state
• Procuring the equipment and consumables needed in the relevant area of responsibility
• Handling DIY plumbing, painting, and joinery for all communal spaces

To apply for this Facility Technician role, you will need to be experienced in facility maintenance and building HVAC and associated systems maintenance. You will also require:

• An independent, target-oriented way of working and a high level of initiative
• Experience with minor build works, minor electrical works and plumbing
• Knowledge of electrical engineering and control systems
