As a Suspension System Lead Engineer, you will work within an agile Chassis team to deliver a premium suspension system. You will collaborate with adjacent vehicle engineering teams and various stakeholders to drive the successful delivery of the platform into vehicles.

In your first few weeks in this Suspension System Lead Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Work with an expert outsourced suspension system design and delivery team
• Interface with internal manufacturing and virtual series' teams and deliver content/resolve designs to their gateways
• Chair regular suspension system reviews and become the subject matter expert on our suspension/ axles
• Use CAD and the native basic basic FEA toolset (Siemens TeamCentre & NX) to make design changes after the outsourced partner has left.

To succeed in this Suspension System Lead Engineer job, you will need a degree in mechanical engineering or similar and 5 years' experience - design/development of structural, safety-critical parts. You will also require the following:

• Experience of chassis engineering and parametric CAD
• Experience of releasing and quality checks
• Experience working and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
