Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit an Electrical Test Engineer, and the role comes with a contract rate of £23.07 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35). This contrac tis for 22 weeks and is open to extension.

As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will be part of the team that runs the facility, working in collaboration with the Technology Development team to support the installation and commissioning of new test rigs.

You will be running state-of-the-art mechanical and electrical test rigs with roles supporting single-component testing, all the way to whole vehicle durability. You will also support the Lead Engineer to ensure physical testing is completed on time, to quality, with the necessary escalation and reporting responsibilities.

To apply for this Electrical Test Engineer role, you will need an evidence-based understanding of design verification and testing process. You will also require an understanding of physical test laboratory operation, laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration related activity. In addition, you should have a background in structural electrical engineering, mechatronics or a related electrical profession.
