Sales and Estimating Manager
West Midlands based - National Role
Salary circa £40,000, car allowance plus company bonus.
On behalf of our client, a design and manufacturing company specialising in materials handling equipment for the automotive and engineering industries, we are looking for a Sales and Estimating Manager to identify, target and win new business across multiple sectors.
Located in the West Midlands, they are an established manufacturer of both bespoke and standard industrial pallets and containers, for a variety of industries, including agriculture, automotive, construction, the foundry and forging trade, retail outlets, as well as the Ministry of Defence.
With a focus on growing new and existing business accounts across multiple sectors, you will be a robust and engaging sales manager with a background in some area of manufacturing. There is the potential to make a significant impact through your efforts, reporting directly into the Directors you can become a key employee in the future of the business.
The successful Sales and Estimating Manager will engage with new and existing clients across the UK, and also have estimating experience to accurately analyse, cost and quote on potential orders. The company have several strategic accounts that are currently managed internally, they also have an existing product range but also offer a bespoke/customisable solution that can be tailored to suit most manufacturing environments.
A commercial background within manufacturing is essential for this role, combining technical knowledge with a strong sales approach. An ability to read and understand CAD/drawings will be beneficial, as well as estimating experience to provide credible estimations/quotations will also be required.
This role will be a mix of working face to face with customers from my clients' offices in the West Midlands, to follow up on leads, prospects and provide estimates and quotations for work.
For your efforts you will be given a salary of circa £40,000 and a company car allowance.
