Accounting Manager (Reporting and Consolidation) - 39203 - £58.34/hr (inside IR35

Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a Warwick-based company find an experienced Accountant with a deep understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards. This full-time Manager role is based in Warwick and offers an Umbrella rate of £58.34/hr (Inside IR35 – some flexibility on rate depending on experience).

Within this role, you will direct reporting and consolidating efforts, set up financial systems and processes, and oversee finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting Leadership: Lead the outsourced accounting team in ensuring the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Reporting and Group Consolidation: Manage the reporting and consolidation of financial statements for the conglomerate, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting standards.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for various group entities.
• Technical Expertise: Stay updated on changes in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and ensure compliance with the latest standards.
• System Implementation: Establish and maintain robust financial systems and processes, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and scalability.
• Startup Mode: Be ready to work in a startup environment, taking the initiative to set up accounting operations from scratch and adapt to evolving needs.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and reporting obligations, collaborating with auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.
• Financial Analysis: Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to senior management, supporting strategic decision-making
