Accounts Manager (Plant Finance and Controls) - 39202 - £58.34/hr Umbrella (inside IR35)

Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for finance and a background in the manufacturing industry. We are helping a collaborative company in Warwick find an experienced Accounts Manager, and the full-time role offers an Umbrella Rate of £58.34/hr (Inside IR35).

As an Accounts Manager, you will be a vital member of the finance team. Your primary role will be to support the finance operations, assist in setting up financial systems and processes and collaborating in the startup mode.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting Support: Support and manage the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with relevant accounting standards. Review and lead the outputs of outsourced partner teams.
• Technical Expertise: Apply your knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) to ensure financial reporting compliance and best practices.
• Startup Mode: Embrace the startup environment, actively participating in the setup of accounting operations and adapting to evolving requirements.
• System Implementation: Contribute to the establishment and improvement of financial systems and processes, enhancing efficiency and transparency.
• Budget Assistance: Participate in the plant's anal budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate financial plans.
• Compliance Assistance: Support the finance team in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting obligations, collaborating with auditors and regulatory bodies when necessary.
• Financial Analysis: Assist in providing financial analysis and reporting to senior management, aiding in informed decision-making
• Budget Support: Collaborate on the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate financial plans

To apply, you will require:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with extensive experience
• Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Previous experience in Financial accounts
• Strong preference for experience within the manufacturing industry.
• Enthusiastic and adaptable individual with a flexible approach.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
