 A Lead Engineer Vehicle Electrical Architect is required to join a Coventry based OEM, The Electrical and Electronics department's primary function is to support vehicle line development and new technology engineering.

The Lead Engineer Vehicle Electrical Architecture drives and supports the definition and design of electrical vehicle systems for upcoming and future vehicle programs. Additionally, the engineering and deployment of new technologies within the electrical system forms part of the role.

As Lead Engineer Vehicle Electrical Architect - you will be required to;

• Primarily driving Vehicle System Architecture activities
• Conceptualisation, design, and proof of concept of new strategies for a variety of systems
• Model based design and model-based systems engineering on vehicle level and beyond
• Support the delivery of Engineering sign off through DVP and report DV progress through the validation and verification tool
• Communication matrix design and sign-off
• Support all project technical activities to meet customer deadlines and Milestones

As Lead Engineer Vehicle Electrical Architect - you will have;

• Degree qualified or equivalent with proven experience in electrical architecture
• Understanding of vehicle electrical and functional systems
• Knowledge of Model Based System Engineering
• Experience within various vehicle domains, Systems Engineering processes and methods, rapid prototyping and testing systems besides dedicated knowledge of communication technologies and power distribution within mobility solutions
• Knowledge of at least one of: PREEvision, Mentor Capital, or Dassault Systems Toolchains
