Digital Alias Modeller - 39039 - £55.70/hr umbrella rate

Jonathan Lee Recruitment is on the lookout for a skilled Creative Specialist / Digital Alias Modeller with experience in the Automotive industry to join a collaborative company in Gaydon on a contract basis. This hybrid role comes with a contract umbrella rate of £55.70 per hour, Inside IR35.

The 3D Creative Specialist will support design direction through sketch and review processes and work closely with the design team to develop and support the design process. You'll work within a fluctuating environment, supporting several departments within and outside of Design, including Clay Modelling Studio Engineering and DVA C&M.

In this  role, you will have the flexibility to Lead and manage your own work requirements and lead a small team to deliver to required deadlines, supporting where required on any project/Build meeting and communicating information/direction within that team. You can expect to interpret 2D sketches into 3D digital form, delivering high-quality design assets using Surface development tools.

To apply for this Creative Specialist / Digital Alias Modeller role, you will need to be fluent in the use of Alias automotive/surface, the primary software tool within the department, including sub-d toolsets. You will also require the following:

• MUST have experience in the automotive industry
• The ability to understand and support design direction through sketch and review processes and work closely with the design team to develop and support the design process
• Experience in supporting software tools used within the design and office environment (Office360, SharePoint, OneDrive, teams Photoshop, etc)
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to motivate and provide transparency
