Due to upcoming projects and continued growth, an advanced UK aerospace, aviation & marine engineering company in Bristol is looking for multiple talented Modelling and Simulation Engineers to join our expanding team. This hybrid role offers a generous salary and benefits. You'll be based in the Bristol office with occasional travel to clients' sites as required. As part of their commitment to flexibility, staff can choose to work from the company offices in Preston or Derby if preferred.

The successful Modelling and Simulation Engineers will work within a team responsible for developing models at the vehicle, system, and equipment levels. The role covers all aspects of model-based design, from concept/trade studies, through model requirements capture, the support of requirements verification, performance modelling, design activities, model validation, support to test, in-service support and root cause analysis.

During your first few weeks and months in this Modelling and Simulation Engineer position, you can expect to:

• Work with the technical lead, defining modelling and analysis tasks and requirements
• Develop new and existing models
• Define and run model analyses
• Take responsibility for performance aspects of a design as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Author technical modelling documentation, including model description documents and analysis reports

The ideal Modelling and Simulation Engineer applicant will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in a related discipline, preferably Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics. You must also be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the fundamental modelling principles of systems.
