Do you have project management experience, and are you seeking a 12-month contract in Cranfield? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Connected Car Project Engineer, and the role comes with a contract rate of - £25.96 - £31.00 / hr PAYE.

As a Connected Car Project Engineer, you will support the development of connected car launches across the region and coordinate cross-functional activities. You will also coordinate cross-carline projects for on-board and off-board connected car and infotainment teams.

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

• Collaborate with connected car design and test teams to define and maintain project development scope, schedule and test plans
• Manage and maintain cross-carline development planner and ensure project engineers maintain development schedules and meet quality targets through all gateways
• Resource management for effective deployment and resource allocation when and where needed
• Effective information management by the acquisition of information from one or many sources and distribution to convey the status of the project.

To apply for this Connected Car Project Engineer role, you will need a qualification in Engineering or Computer Science and have experience of Project Management in the IT/Automotive Industry. You will also require the following:

• Experience in a major development programme, e.g., in aerospace, telecoms or similar
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and multitask between multiple projects simultaneously
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

You'll receive an excellent contract per hour rate between - £25.96 - £31.00 / hr PAYE in return for your knowledge, expertise and flexibility.
