Title: PLC Programmer

Contract Position based at: Solihull

Rate:- up to £41.81 LTD per hour days / up to £50.31 LTD per hour afternoons

Length of Contract: 6 months

Position Description:

The candidate will be responsible for the development of PLC, Interfaces and all related controls to standards for all upper body inner zones 9RH / LH, 10RH / LH, 11.1, 11.2RH / LH, 22.1 for both L460 from AS6 - AS10 and L461 from AS1 - AS.

Responsibilities:

Creating formal documentation for software related tasks (DCP Programming / Code Checkers, Progress Reports, Testing schedules, safety buy offs, validation, SPL's etc..) Adherence to DCP software standards, IP Address allocations, Sick safety equipment programming (Including commodity supplier and buy off), Programming and development of HMI's applications in line with client standards, FACMON commissioning, Fault finding and resolution including supporting the 9 panel process Commissioning of required additional equipment over base program requirements, PLC scheduling / data transfer PLC - PLC as and where required.

Experience Required

Rockwell guard logix trained, DCP ACA Or Rockwell accreditation, Sick MicroScan 3 accreditation. Minimum 3 years experience in DCP programming and commissioning, working to clients specifications.

Experience in an automotive environment.
