A growing FMCG manufacturer are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. You will work within a small engineering team, conducting routine, reactive maintenance on fast paced machinery.
Shift Pattern- Monday to Friday Days, will a view to more to a double days shift pattern.
Salary £40,000 to £48,000 plus Benefits
What You Will Do:
- Support and enhance the preventative maintenance strategy to minimise downtime and improve efficiency.
- Ensure health and safety standards are met, operating in line with safe systems of work and company procedures.
- Continuously improve housekeeping standards in engineering workshops and across the sites.
- Supervise contractors effectively and ensure compliance with site processes.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate maintenance records.
- Provide training and support to the maintenance team to develop technical skills and reduce machine downtime.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience in Planned Preventative Maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Apprentice trained Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias with ability to fault finding on electrical systems, HMI's and basic understanding of PLC's.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office.
