Permanent role working for a leading manufacturer in Worcester at their large and modern manufacturing facility. Maintenance Engineer required to join the team, you will be qualified electrically and mechanically with confident electrical fault-finding skills on 3 phase systems and proven mechanical knowledge on repairing machines.
Salary: £45,000
Working Hours: Days Monday – Friday
Location: Worcester
Working favourable hours within a friendly and professional maintenance department. As Maintenance engineer you will be required to:
- Provide maintenance solutions to keep the manufacturing facility and its offices in a safe and working condition.
- Support installation of new equipment, general maintenance and repair work associated with older existing equipment and all administrative duties aligned with this position.
- Carry out PPM and TPM maintenance
- Ensure that all equipment is handed back to production in a safe and workable state.
- Support 5s housekeeping and cleaning duties in and around the assigned work areas and designated maintenance areas.
- Attend all training courses as is deemed appropriate to carry out the function of Maintenance Engineer.
As Maintenance Engineer you will be qualified and trained accordingly.
- Experience in mechanical maintenance
- Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
- Diagnostic experience for both electrical and mechanical problems.
- Electrical Installation 18th Edition advantageous
- Electrical or Mechanical qualification (C&G or NVQ)
- Ability to read and interpret Electrical Drawings
You will have current or recent experience as maintenance engineer, maintenance technician, multi-skilled engineer, multi-skilled maintenance engineer, mechanical maintenance engineer, technician, mechanical fitter, electrical or shift engineer, electrical maintenance engineer or service engineer

Panel Wirer
Due to continued success and ongoing projects my client is seeking panel wirer to join them on contract basis for the remainder of the year with good earning potential available with continual overtime paid at good rates. Great work environment and interesting work for a skilled panel wirer.
Hourly Rate: £15 – 16/hr or £19.50 – 20/hr CIS or Umbrella
Hours: Days Monday to Friday (Early Finish Friday) 37.5 hours week
The successful Panel Wirer will carry out the following duties
- Fitting and wiring electrical components
- Preparing wires and looms
- Fitting electrical components to back plates and external covers
- Working to drawings wiring complete panels
As panel wirer you will have the following experience
- Wiring experience from schematic drawings
- Machine and panel wiring / fitting electrical components.
- Control panel or switchgear or electrical distribution experience
- Current or previous experience as panel wirer, electrical fitter, electrical installation, wireman
Current or recent experience as panel wirer, switchgear wirer, control panel wirer, electrical fitter.

Key Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a Hydraulic Test Engineer to join their growing engineering team based in Telford. This is an exciting opportunity to work on bespoke hydraulic and electro-mechanical systems working for an established SME who continue to grow.
You will be supporting projects from factory acceptance testing through to installation and commissioning. As Hydraulic Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring equipment meets the highest standards of quality, safety and performance You'll work closely with design engineers, production teams and customers to develop test procedures. Excellent remuneration available for a skilled engineer with in depth knowledge of hydraulic systems, automation and controls and some design capability on CAD.

Hydraulic Test Engineer Key Responsibilities
- Develop and produce test documentation for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), customer FATs, installation, commissioning and sea trials
- Read, interpret and verify hydraulic circuits to develop flushing and pressure testing procedures
- Interpret electrical schematics and assist with system verification
- Support the testing and troubleshooting of hydraulic, electrical and control systems
- Assist with PLC and drive system diagnostics
- Carry out in-house testing and customer site commissioning
- Create and update AutoCAD drawings for test layouts and equipment
- Record and maintain test specifications, serial number registers and technical documentation
- Analyse and compile test data, identifying opportunities for process improvements
About You
You'll be a practical engineer with strong fault-finding skills and the confidence to work independently as well as part of a wider engineering team with a background in purpose built machinery or heavy production machines and material handling equipment.
