NEW VACANCY - QUALITY TECHNICIAN

Are you an experienced Quality Technician, Quality Control Technician, Quality Auditor, Quality Controller, Quality Inspector, QC Inspector, QC Technician or QA Inspector seeking a new job opportunity?!

We are looking for a Quality Technician to join a leading manufacturing business in Telford (Shropshire), the working hours are day shifts Monday to Friday (36.25 per week with flexi start and finish times) and the role comes with an annual salary between £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE).

The hiring manager is ideally looking for someone who holds a Degree, HNC or HND in Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline, and someone who has proven laboratory experience in packaging materials testing.

We are looking for someone who has strong knowledge of regulatory compliance for packaging materials (e.g., food contact, BRC, etc.) and experience performing regulatory assessments.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead technical evaluation and quality assurance for packaging materials and production processes.
  • Design and run R&D trials, then document results and recommendations to drive improvements in functionality and manufacturability.
  • Carry out physical, chemical, and sensory/odour testing, keeping accurate records and producing clear technical/quality reports.
  • Support customer quality certificates and investigate complaints using a root cause approach, ensuring timely corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including risk assessments such as COSHH where required.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for suppliers and coordinate support for trials, scale-up activity, and day-to-day quality matters.

What You Will Bring:

  • A degree or HND in chemistry, materials science, polymer science, chemical engineering, or a closely related discipline (PREFERRED)
  • Proven laboratory and analytical experience, ideally within packaging materials testing.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance for packaging materials (for example, food contact and BRC) and experience with regulatory testing or assessments.
  • Demonstrable skills in complaint investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action follow-through.
  • Confidence producing Technical Data Sheets, Declarations of Compliance, and formal technical reports, alongside strong MS Office ability.

In this Quality Technician position, your work directly supports the company's continuous improvement culture: building reliable processes, strengthening supplier quality, and helping teams deliver accurate documentation and trustworthy product performance. The focus is practical, collaborative, and customer-led, ensuring every trial, test result, and corrective action contributes to better outcomes across operations.

Legal Administrator (Multi-Site)

Location: Travel between offices in Shropshire and Herefordshire is required 
Salary: £24,600 per annum to starting, rising after 6 months and 12 months
Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am – 5:00pm

We're looking for a Legal Administrator to join a central Legal Support Services team. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll provide administrative, reception and client support across multiple office locations, ensuring legal teams receive the support they need to deliver an exceptional client experience.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong administration, reception or legal support experience who enjoys variety, is highly organised and is happy to travel between offices when required.

About the Role

As a Legal Administrator, you'll provide essential cover across several offices, supporting departments during annual leave, sickness, training and other absences.

You'll become a valued member of the wider Legal Support Services team, helping ensure the smooth day to day running of busy legal offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing high quality legal and administrative support to multiple departments.
  • Covering reception duties and delivering an excellent front of house experience.
  • Greeting clients and visitors professionally.
  • Answering and directing incoming telephone calls.
  • Managing busy inboxes and responding to enquiries.
  • Producing, formatting and processing legal documents using digital dictation and speech recognition software.
  • Opening new client files and carrying out file administration.
  • Completing client due diligence and compliance checks, including identity verification, sanctions, insolvency, PEP and CCJ searches.
  • Uploading documentation to case management and document management systems.
  • Scanning, filing, photocopying and archiving legal documents.
  • Supporting Fee Earners with a wide range of administrative tasks.
  • Working across multiple systems while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Assisting colleagues across different offices as operational needs require.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous administration, office support or legal administration experience.
  • Reception or customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • The ability to prioritise work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, flexible and positive attitude.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between offices.
