Job Title - Demand Planner / Analyst (3085) Hourly rate - £21.03 ltd Industry - FMCG Location - Birmingham An opportunity has arisen for a Demand Planner to work for a confectionery manufacturer in Birmingham. As Demand Planner, you will be a business partner for Commercial & Operations, engaging and influencing cross functional teams to deliver best practice. As Demand Planner, you're main accountabilities will be: Responsible to provide an accurate base forecast, proper following of the weekly & monthly cycle, to support the Area commercial objectives over the financial planning horizons. Acts as a Business Partner for Commercial and Operations Functions, responsible to provide the different business stakeholder with a high quality insight-based total forecast (24 month horizon, weekly on sku level in APO DP, based on available assumptions You will have experience in Demand Planning, Comprehensive Supply Chain, Financial or Logistics education or experience. Fully Operational knowledge of SAP ECC/APO/BI in Supply Chain through formal training and experience. Strong quantative and analytical skills and aptitude, attention to detail. Priority Setting: Understanding and managing the key issues and success criteria. Supply Chain Management: knowledgeable of modern demand and supply planning concepts; including knowledge & experience on Statistical forecasting, Segmentation and History Cleansing In addition to the above you will be university degree educated, preferentially logistics or Economics.
