Are you are an experienced Project Quality Engineer with experience of validation and new product introduction? If so we are recruiting a high profile role for a prestigious car manufacturer in Oxford where permenent roles are rather exclusive and offer security and an excellent benefits package. As the Advance Quality Engineer you will be responsible for giving a qualified status on new model maturity and fitness for release to volume production and have a strong background in automotive pre-production quality. This will include: Develop and set up testing methods and tools for customer and system functions. Planning necessary validations of vehicle components and systems, Conducting respective tests. Analysing and reporting defects. Confirming the suitability and testing of proposed solutions. You will also carry the responsibility of being the lead for complex analysis for your components in the plant. As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be required to: Develop project plans to industrialise significant new products, by working closely with design, prototyping and manufacturing departments. Production Manager Birmingham £50-55K A proven Production Manager with automotive experience is required to lead a production team to ensure production and quality targets are delivered, within a CNC machining based environment producing components for some of the world's most prestigious vehicles. The key purpose of the Senior Process Leader role is to secure safety, environmental, quality and volume targets for the weekend night shift production line and operational shift. The Production Manager has responsibility for:- The production line and the leadership of the production team to deliver the shift targets. All disciplinary issues, people development and training plans. Achieving budget targets, SAP administration and absence and Holiday control. Managing Problem resolution, process and product change, and co-ordination of facility and line changes with technical planning. Asset management is also a key role, to ensure facilities are maintained. Ensuring a lean and continuous improvement environment is maintained.
