Power Electronics Engineer - High Speed Motors

We are currently seeking an experienced Power Electronics Engineer, with good knowledge of Electrical Motors and who has preferably worked in the Automotive Industry. The position will focus on the Design, Build and Testing of Power Electronic Systems for High Speed Automotive Motor Applications. You will: Generate designs based in Technical Specifications. Design and Simulate Power Electronics, Gate Drive and Control Circuits including physical layout. Provide Technical Liaison for customers worldwide. Participate in and lead the creation of functional specifications, DVP, FMEA and Test Procedures. Manage Projects. Skills and Experience Degree in relevant discipline. Extensive experience of Power Electronics Design Experience in Motor Drive Design would be advantageous including inverters, dc-dc converters, high speed motors. Senior Powertrain Design Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer with a background in Automotive Powertrain Design for an exciting role with an Automotive company based in Essex. CNC Technician

We are seeking an experienced and conscientious CNC Technician who looking for a varied and interesting role with an excellent company. The role is split into two parts, assisting in the production is new products for a Scientific production materials. As an operator with a split role, the primary responsibilities in each area include: High Pressure High Temperature Synthesis Operation of HPHT synthesis presses, including loading/unloading & cleaning, process monitoring, anvil & die wear/deformation recording. Processing of pressed capsules, as required. Preparation of capsule components, including conditioning & building. Heavy Test Setting and operating of CNC lathe to run wear tests using PCD cutters on granite work pieces. Measurement of wear scars using optical microscopes. Prepare tools for operation using brazing and grit blasting. Movement of heavy blocks and bags Required experience and knowledge Candidates must thrive in a diverse environment and be flexible in response to operational demand. Candidates must be able to work in a methodical manner, following established procedures with a right first-time approach and attention to detail. Experienced in one or more precision machining processes or hands-on technical role. ONC/HNC in mechanical/production engineering or similar is desirable Familiar with MS Office tools is highly desirable. Good communication skills, conscientious mindset with a "can-do" attitude. Prepared to work an alternating shift pattern: 6am - 2pm, 13:45 - 21:45. A monthly shift disturbance allowance will be paid if working these hours.
