To inspect components to drawing specifications and where required, satisfy control plan criteria in accordance to Xtrac quality standards. To identify and problem solve 1st offs, batch inspections and final inspections. To utilise manual inspection methods, 1st Principle techniques, Mitutoyo / Zeiss CMM's, Contour Trace, Surftest and FARO Arm, adhering to company quality standards. RESPONSIBILITIES: To verify documentation, ensuring drawings, parts and documentation are all in order at commencement of operation. MRP Lead

Job Summary The post holder will be responsible for delivering excellent Materials / Manufacturing Resource Planning services as a core member of the Supply Chain team. In this role you will: Design, develop and document MRP processes and procedures. Design, configure and implement the (currently dormant) MRP functionality of companies ERP system (MS Dynamics) in conjunction with the IT team. Deliver comprehensive MRP process and system training to appropriate teams (e.g. designers, engineers, planners, buyers, partners, suppliers). Work closely with Design teams to understand their design outputs, products and Bills of Materials (BOMS). Work closely with Build teams to produce routings/work-orders/production plans with manufacturing instructions and process instructions. Work closely with Procurement team to ensure supplier lead times and other key supplier parameters within the BOMs are comprehensive and up to date. Work with Sales team to ensure customer demand is understood and sales forecasts are fully integrated into the MRP process. Develop and maintain / partner /supplier MRP schedules and work with teams to identify supply chain risks, constraints, solutions and improvement opportunities. Support New Product Introduction and Engineering Change Control processes. Person Specification The ideal candidate will have: Significant professional experience of carrying out Materials / Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) activities within a high complexity, fast moving industrial and/or manufacturing environment. A proven track record in implementing new MRP systems within a manufacturing environment. We are currently recruiting for an Automotive Research Analyst to work for a specialised Research and Analysis company based in London and Northants This role will entail perfuming in-depth Research into trends, Regulatory affairs and modern Technologies related the Automotive Powertrain sector. Duties and Responsibilities: Planning and controlling the CO2 & CAFE strategy of the all brand in the Europe and China market by collaborating and with the discussing with global powertrain production and sales forecast team. Interpretation of legislation for Credit and powertrain based taxation. Follow state regulatory emissions and environmental activities and provide related analysis, comments, and guidance to Cost to compliance global team. Monitor upcoming EU commission and other agencies' environmental (e.g. JRC,CLEPA,ETRAC, etc.) research and regulatory initiatives through participation in industry and government meetings and committees, as well as through frequent contact with government representatives, other companies, and trade association. Prepare reports on an ongoing basis addressing upcoming regulations and summaries of published regulatory actions with recommendations on how all car manufacturers will achieve compliance. Keep abreast of and distribute information on environmental trends, technologies and upcoming requirements to related team through meetings and presentations on a regular basis. Conduct cost benefit analysis on technology routes and powertrain implementation plan based on developed sales and production forecast. Develop and lead global technology plan for the major car brand to achieve compliance where by the technologies are adopted based on defined rules for opportunities in engine, transmission and alternate propulsion system design and influencing the sales and production. Position Requirements A degree in Engineering, Automotive Technology or more than 3 years equivalent in related experience. At least 2 years of data management experience with emphasis on cleansing, importing, merging, formatting, and synthesizing large data sets Well-developed and experience with Excel and Access at expert level Ability to visualize and compile large sets of data into a clear and useable format Proven ability to effectively communicate technical issues both verbally and in writing to non-technical people. We are currently seeking an experienced Powertrain Cost Engineer to work for a specialised Research and Analysis company based in London and Northants. As a key member of the Cost to Compliance organization you will be responsible for developing complex cost model for current and future powertrain technologies that improves fuel economy for global market. Duties and Responsibilities: Analysis of historical powertrain systems cost and develops cost comparisons to support future cost estimation Establishes reasonableness of cost ("should cost") and makes recommendations for cost data positions by developing cost model which change on exogenous and endogenous factor Participates in cost reviews with wider team, internal teams, and supplier representatives for conducting interview , questionnaire that are required to support cost models Develops Cost BOMs to analyze powertrain system level costs based on geometric or non-geometric data assumptions Compiles and analyses statistical cost data from multiple table, datasets and indexes. Source documentation verifying proposal cost estimates Perform and manage Cost Analysis and Optimization projects Perform cost calculation for components: Machined, sheet-metal, cast parts cable assembly and printed circuit board assembly Direct the development of new cost estimating methods, tools and techniques and research and collect historical cost data on powertrain programs to support cost estimates and affordability assessments. Lead the development and research statistical tools and estimating methodologies based on historical product costs and schedules, and technical data. Previous directly related experience within aerospace manufacturing is highly preferred. Previous experience with Lean, Six Sigma principles is highly preferred. Previous experience in Parametric Cost Modelling is highly preferred. Previous experience in analyzing recurring and non-recurring cost is required. We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Fleet Manager to work for a Technology company, who have a fleet of Vehicles to be used to demonstrate their Products to potential customers. Job Summary To maintain the site vehicle fleet in compliance with all legislative and Company standards and to lead, motivate and develop the Demo Fleet team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of managing a HGV fleet, hold a CPC and is a strong leader. Key Responsibilities: Excellent organisation skills needed to ensure successful customer demonstrations of vehicles, including fuel refill demonstrations at customer locations. Optimise the use of the Demonstration Trucks to the maximum. Ensure that all Demo Fleet team members are focused, motivated, trained and organised. To maintain and improve a safe working environment within the vehicle safety standards, ensuring that team comply with all legal and Company Health & Safety standards and requirements. To ensure that the vehicle fleet is maintained in accordance with the operator license. Take the lead in development, and maintaining a focus on continuous efficiency improvement.
