This rapidly growing manufacturer of new and environmentally friendly packaging materials are looking for a Process Engineer with extrusion coatings experience to strengthen their production team. The Process Engineer will provide technical input to maintain improve and optimise manufacturing processes onsite and with customers to ensure successful use of their products.     The Process Engineer duties will include: Investigates causes of ongoing process, quality, production efficiency and high waste problems. Then develops solutions using problem solving techniques. Remotely support and visit customers to provide technical processing assistance and troubleshoot issues. Maintains standard operating conditions system which ensures consistent manufacturing equipment processing conditions. Maintenance Engineer - Night Shift

i This continuously growing manufacturer of FMCG packaging is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer – Nights to provide engineering maintenance and breakdown servicing for the injection moulding machinery onsite. The position is in a night shift pattern of Monday to Friday, 10pm to 6am. The Maintenance Engineer – Nights duties will include: Implementation of engineering work instructions and training documentation as and when required. Continuous improvement of all related production equipment to drive OEE up and above specified targets and to reduce scrap to below specified targets. To ensure PPM is completed on time. Notification to be given to the Production Shift Manager when scheduled timelines are not met with reasons why. All spares used need to be logged and updated/re-ordered in suitable time. A high level of housekeeping is required at all times, sufficient time should be allocated at the end of your shift to clean your working area and put all tools away in a professional manner. Investigation of reoccurring faults and follow up action is essential; the engineer has the responsibility to send equipment back to manufactures for analysis and repair. To log all major breakdowns per shift on the maintenance fault log. Ensure a high level of health and safety is adhered to at all time’s leading by example. To communicate with department Shift Managers or deputies and prioritise work loads in times of multiple breakdowns. The Maintenance Engineer – Nights will have: Multi skilled in electrical and mechanical maintenance. Experience of a working in a similar fast paced environment. Managing a team of 15-20 Operators the Shift Manager will be responsible for shift performance and ensuring a safe and efficient workplace is always maintained. Toolmaker

The Tool Maker is responsible for making precision tools (such as jigs, moulds and dies), which are then used in the manufacturing production process to make our uPVC products. Main duties and responsibilities: Be able to read engineering drawings to produce parts required using Lathes & drills, milling machines, grinding machines etc Conduct test runs with completed tools or dies to ensure that parts meet specifications; make adjustments as necessary. Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools, using machine tools and hand tools. Inspect finished dies and calibrators for correct fittings, surface finish, contour conformity, and defects. Set up and operate conventional, CNC or NC machine tools such as lathes, WEDM machines, milling machines, and grinders to cut, bore, grind, or otherwise shape parts to given tolerances and specifications. Be able to measure finished parts for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as callipers, gauge blocks, micrometres, and dial indicators.
