David completed an apprenticeship as a Toolmaker qualifying in mechanical engineering, before moving into tooling design and then production engineering.
He then followed a career in design projects and resourcing before moving into engineering and technical recruitment initially focusing on the transportation sectors before broadening into automation and power generation where he now has over 30 years’ experience.
A contract recruitment specialist at heart, David’s roles in recruitment developed into operations management including a combination of larger corporates such as Manpower, Carillion and Assystem before starting his own technology and change management consultancy business.
David returned to Jonathan Lee Group in 2014 where he is now engaged as Group Business Development Manager responsible for growth in permanent and contract recruitment, talent management, managed services and design services functions. He is also involved in the group’s numerous successful trade association partnerships and Fourth Industrial Revolution (41R) programme for SMEs progression.
