Project Manager- Electrical/Electro-mechanical

Our Client, is a world-leading supplier of electro-mechancal equipment with large client base in USA, Asia and EU. They are looking for a Project Manager to drive and co-ordinate efficient project delivery to major Automotive Clients. Based in the South East UK, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the assigned Client projects ensuring that all the objectives and milestones are met in a timely manner and to Customer requirements. As a Project Manager you will: Represent the company's development interests towards the customer and ensure that their intentions, expectations and ideas are communicated to the development engineers, using local knowledge of the customer and the market Lead and organise project teams, manage project meetings internally and with the customer Work with the Account Manager to manage commercial activities; RFI/RFQ, cost discussions/negotiations, internal budget process Manage change requests, feature rollout and software delivery to the customer and maintain customer issue tracking systems Communicate with the parent factories, local engineers, commercial contacts and customer project teams Be responsible for project delivery towards the customer including documentation, timing and coordination of development with Company factories, encompassing both commercial and supply chain elements As a Project Manager you will be/have: Project management experience is required. PMST Lead, seating

Job title: PMST/ Lead Location: South West Automotive, CAD, Design, Development, Seating, Interior Trim, Leading, DVP, CAE A PMST Lead is required with knowledge of seating systems and interior trim. Candidates with experience of the automotive industry would be well received. Due to the development of a new state of the art vehicle this company, an innovative and forward-thinking technology company based in South West requires a well-organized and proactive PMST Lead with experience of leading product development projects within seating and/or interior trim for a new permanent role. As a PMST Lead you will be required to: Apply innovative problem-solving skills to support the vision for new product concepts, championing design to produce products that meet performance and functional criteria. Work with research teams to integrate and develop new technology research into the final design for seating and interior trim components and systems. Take an active, hands-on role to ensure that all engineering problems are resolved thoroughly while preparing design reviews with Design Managers and Concept Design Director. Ability to lead teams in the delivery of new product development programs from concept through to production. Communicate between all teams and stakeholders within RDD and Global Operations to ensure effective and timely input to meet program gateways The PMST Lead should have the following skills or experience: Previous experience of product design, managing resource and delivering to time scales. Experience in interior design, seating and ergonomics with a creative and considered approach to problem solving, adhering to clear design processes. A good balance of practical and theoretical skills; calculations from first principles; prototype rig building and industry test methods to analyse the design. Experience with CAD surface modelling and CAE development with experience of taking products from concepts through to production Knowledge engineering standards, International regulations and Requirements - DFM, Validation, PLM, DFMEA, DVP&R and VA/VE. Our Client, one of the world's leading automotive consultancies are looking for a Project Engineer to be based in their Rugby facility. Working together with the R&D, Sales and Applications Engineers, you will provide linkage between these internal functions and support the business to address product market demands. What you will do As a Project Engineer you will: Provide reliable product and performance demonstration to the technical community Maintain and generate product knowledge and technology trends through presentations, standards, papers and technical reports Establish and manage material performance data from internal bespoke rig tests Lead and participate in R&D projects on a local and global level according to key demands Undertake component benchmarking analysis, including visual assessment and providing direction for metallurgical and dimensional analysis with interpretation of results Contribute to the internal Innovation process by generating ideas, writing and presentation of technical papers Support technology meetings to define regional and global product demands What you will have/be An Automotive Engineering degree or similar Strong knowledge of internal combustion engines good understanding of materials, metallurgy and tribology (ideally) self-motivated with drive to complete tasks in a timely manner Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and low tolerance of errors You must be eligible to work in the UK
