As Technical Lead – Power Electronics you will Manage & drive the technical team in the detailed design of high voltage systems Work with the Programme Manager to achieve project milestones and cost performance. Specify and design power electronics components for the aircraft high voltage systems. Source suppliers and provide technical input (mass, performance, risk, etc.) to the program team to support selection. Prepare and present at gated design reviews to demonstrate the adequacy of the design. Integrate and test the systems in the lab and modify designs/hardware as needed. Provide hands-on support through aircraft integration, ground test, and flight test. Be an innovative, confident and enthusiastic power electronics engineer, eager to join an industrious and dedicated engineering team. As Technical Lead – Power Electronics you will Be a strong team player and have the ability to manage a diverse technical team. Have experience with the aircraft development process and familiarity with various high voltage components. Hands-on experience with electric propulsion systems, high voltage battery, battery management systems and converters in power classes ranging from 500W to 500kW. In-depth understanding of electric aircraft propulsion systems and required infrastructure. Demonstrated knowledge of Aerospace power conversion architectures, inverters & electric motors. Expert in grounding system layout and analysis as well as profound knowledge in EMI Solid background in electrical engineering, including the ability to read schematics, design PCBs and execute tests in low voltage and high voltage lab environments. Be highly flexible and dynamic. Be able to quickly and positively response to change and have the ability to multitask.
