New Board Members for Jonathan Lee Contracts
In a move to strengthen the company’s strategic team, Chester Boothe and Marc Sanchez have been appointed to the main board of Stourbridge based Jonathan Lee Contracts, the contract division of Jonathan Lee Recruitment. Born and brought up in Birmingham, Chester joined the company nine years ago as a recruitment consultant. He had already completed an engineering apprenticeship and spent 12 years in quality management, having started his career as a quality control inspector for Salter Springs and Pressings.
Chester heads up the contracts teams at Jonathan Lee’s Stourbridge office and also has responsibility for growth of the contracts business within the Leicester and Leeds offices. During his time with the company, he has seen the contract side of the business grow dramatically.
“We have developed the contract business through organic growth, acquisition and a lot of hard work. The growth has also been due to changes in the marketplace; companies have realised that buying in ‘expertise’ as and when required can be a more cost effective approach than maintaining a permanent team of specialists. For those who choose to work as contractors, it can offer greater variety and more flexible working patterns.”
Chester has also pursued his own personal development gaining his Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors (IoD) in October 2004. He continues his professional development programme as he works towards becoming a Chartered Director, also through the IoD.
Marc Sanchez is based at Jonathan Lee Recruitment’s Basildon office.
