Charity Bike Ride - Worcester to Greece - 1,963 miles!
Peter Bishton, Brother in Law of Jonathan Lee, has ridden from Worcester to Greece on behalf of 2 charities, an amazing 1,963 miles!
The first, funded through the Barnabas Trust, is an orphanage near Kampala in Uganda which is being run by Ann and William Neale. They are doing some great work out there, and need every penny that can be mustered.
The second Charity is called the Friends of Swanirvar. This is a Worcester based Charity which supports an educational establishment in Bengal, which is one of the poorest areas of India. This charity is also doing some great work in helping the local people to be self sufficient in agriculture as well as teaching other traditional subjects like Maths, Geography and Science.
