In addition to having the knowledge of Lean tools and techniques, successful change agents must also have the ability to motivate, enthuse and encourage the owners of the process to take responsibility for change. It is imperative that the appropriate candidate selection is made with these skills in mind.
- Firstly we take the time to fully understand the Lean role, your requirements and your approach to implementing change
- We would clarify the tools, techniques and experience required by the candidate
- We would then outline the personality traits and core abilities seen as critical to the process improvement role.
- Finally we would agree the correct recruitment method to identify and select the highest calibre candidates. This can take the form of an advertised assignment, networking across our extensive database for referrals and contacts, or in some instances where appropriate, a direct headhunt for individuals within targeted organisations.
