Technical Sales Manager
£50,000 - £60,000 + car allowance, bonus

My client is a niche plastic injection and rubber moulding manufacturer with an enviable reputation in their market. Supplying quality products on a tier one & tier 2 basis, my client is seeking a Technical Sales Manager who can contribute to the rapid growth of the business by managing existing accounts whilst developing new business.

Your duties and responsibilities will further include the following:

  • Managing customer enquiries from supplier quotations through to customer submissions.
  • Review and develop customer part designs to ensure they are technically feasible and meet customer performance criteria.
  • Manage tool timings and finances to ensure deadlines are met and we receive monies at the desired time.
  • Manage existing and new customer accounts ensuring both external and internal deadlines are adhered to.
  • Increase sales turnover by maximising existing accounts and developing new business across a range of markets
  • Track manufacturing overheads and negotiate with customers to ensure product costs reflect latest pricing.
  • Support Production with the introduction of new tooling and sales.

What we are looking for:

  • A dynamic Technical Sales Manager with a demonstrable track record of achieving targets.
  • Knowledge and experience of plastic injection moulding or rubber moulding is critical when being considered for this role.
  • You will have strong experience of working within a Manufacturing environment, whether this would be Automotive, Aerospace or General Manufacturing.
  • You'll be an exceptional communicator, able to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Your character will be entrepreneurial in nature; my client is going through a period of growth where there will be room for ambitious individuals to progress.
  • You will ideally be degree qualified.
