Operating from over 200 sites, employing over 35,000 employees across 40+ countries our client is a leading global packaging solutions manufacturer supplying a broad range of rigid and flexible packaging products for the food, beverage, healthcare, home, and personal care and tobacco industries.

The site in Worcestershire employing over 150 people, manufactures corrugated paper sacks & bags. They are now looking to bring on a Quality/Process Engineer to join the team. Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, you will ensure that quality is promoted both internally and externally and that standards are maintained in the workplace, while supporting customers New Product Introduction process.

About the role

  • Running the business PMAP (APQP/NPI) process.
  • Assisting 24hr Tracker and implementation of Corrective Actions
  • Running Technical trials within production and customer trials
  • Assisting with internal / external quality investigations
  • Internal auditing

About you

  • Manufacturing background preferred but not essential
  • Good computer skills required.
  • Certificates held relating to Quality functions such as Root cause analysis and Quality tools and Techniques would be preferred.
  • APQP /NPI experience.
  • Driving license
  • Ability to investigate, identify root causes and implement and verify corrective actions relating to any type of quality non-conformity's
  • Ability to work well in team and on their own within a high-pressured environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good knowledge of the printing, lamination and slitting processes
