A Quality Consultant is required with knowledge of IATF16949 to support the implementation and accreditation of quality systems and processes.

Due to the development of a new purpose built automotive production facility in China, our client requires a forward thinking and proactive Quality Consultant who has previously been responsible for leading the installation of IATF16949 quality systems, taking the process through to full accreditation. As part of the Quality Consultant's role you will be required to:

  • Project leads the introduction of IATF16949 systems
  • Establish key milestones to ensure accreditation is achieved
  • Coordinate the IATF16949 teams both internally and externally to fulfil requirements
  • Lead and promote IATF16949 awareness
  • Manage, motivate and develop the team to optimise performance, efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation to achieve the business strategy implementation
  • Establish robust QMS to IATF16949 requirements through effective auditing
  • Steer IATF16949 representatives through meeting/workshop to support and coordinate quality improvement
  • Organize IATF16949 and relevant quality tools' training, quality awareness training and other quality activities to support implementation

The Quality Consultant should have the following skills or experience:

  • Ability to take a facility through the installation and accreditation of IATF16949
  • Expert knowledge QMS, process management, the use of quality tools, relevant standards such as ISO9001, IATF16949.
  • Knowledge of EFQM Excellence Model, lean systems and project management
  • Comprehensive experience of Production Systems, Product / Process Engineering, Logistical Concepts, Production Planning in the motor industries
  • Experience in the Quality Management and Supplier Audit fields with knowledge of Quality Techniques and Failure Analysis / Risk Analysis methods.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and coordination skills to deliver strategic projects within a highly pressurised automotive arena
