A Material Planner with experience of material coordination is required for an initial 6 month contract for an hourly rate of up to £16.70 and will be based in Leicester for a manufacturing client.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating NPI programs and new part releases with customers and process partners
  • Validating requirements and collaborating with customers
  • Collaborating schedule placement with sources
  • Expediting with sources and coordinating with process partners on critical material shortages
  • De-expediting with sources following requirement reductions and removals
  • Coordinating engineering change level and RSSM processes with process partners


Skills required:

  • Experience within a Manufacturing environment
  • Degree qualified or relevant experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Flexible with regards to working hours
  • Effective communicator and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in core Microsoft products; especially PowerPoint (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
