The Role

The purpose of the role is to coordinate the installation of process equipment within the Technology, pilot plant and prototype facilities.

  • Support as required any new major plant, process and equipment installations within operations whilst assisting with generating process requirement specifications.
  • Support the execution and completion of multiple engineering projects that are aligned to the business strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and the implementation of best practice principles.

The Person
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Engineering Project Manager to bring their experience to bear in a fast-moving yet rewarding environment. To be successful in this position you will have:

  • Previous work experience within a similar role is essential with an extensive Engineering Project Management background.
  • Experience in the use of full project lifecycle management along with HAZOP, COSHH and COMAH.
  • Excellent project management skills along with the ability to coordinate resource requirements and drive projects within a manufacturing environment.
  • Process design knowledge (AutoCAD/Solidworks)
  • A Degree in Chemical or relevant Engineering subject.

The Company
Our client is a >£10bn T/O global manufacturing group, which supplies products to numerous industries, primarily to the automotive sector. They now seek a Project Engineering Manager on a permanent staff basis.
The location is commutable by vehicle via either the A1(M) or M11 motorways from north or south, or direct overland trains, including from central London.
