This FMCG manufacturing organisation is a world leader in the production and development of specialist products which are used by many global FMCG producers. It is a great time to be joining the business and they have asked us to help in the recruitment of an exceptional Demand Planner/Scheduler on a 6month FTC

It is essential that you have current experience of working in a high volume, ideally world class FMCG/Food manufacturing environment, that is using modern methods of working.

Reporting into the Master Planner, the Demand Planner/Scheduler will create a complex production plan balancing the needs of the customer with the KPIs set by the business. Producing over 100mt per year, you will ensure stock holdings are controlled whilst exceptional customer service is constantly achieved.

About you

  • Degree or equivalent in a logistics/planning discipline
  • Circa 3 years' experience of working within a planning role
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel, SAP and related planning tools (APO)
  • Ability to work accurately, logically, methodically with effective time management skills
  • Strongly customer orientated with a flexible and "can do" approach
  • Strong relationship building skills and the ability to cover other roles within Supply Chain Planning Team
  • Be an effective team player and an effective communicator - verbally and in writing - within and outside the organisation
  • Ability to identify improvement opportunities and implement these
  • Ability to work under pressure with time and material/production capacity constraints and provide possible solutions
  • The ability to problem solve effectively - analyse a problem and determine possible solutions
  • Ability to be assertive and challenge situations when required.
