CNC Machinist - Permanent - Birmingham

A CNC Machinist accustomed to working within a high precision manufacturing environment is required to join a Birmingham based organisation who are leading providers of multi-axis precision engineering solutions to the automotive, motorsport, aerospace, defence and nuclear business sectors.

As the CNC Machinist you will be required to set and operate a variety of CNC machines whilst working to engineering drawings. There will also be a focus placed upon setting up new products and working closely with various departments to ensure components are introduced to production and manufacture with minimum disruption.

For the role of CNC Machinist you mat have the following attributes:

  • Previous experience as either a CNC Miller or Turner (Mill/Turn would be advantageous)
  • Able to set and operate CNC machines with some on-line editing skills
  • Identify and select appropriate tooling
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to a high standard
  • Manufactured parts to close tolerances
  • Mazak experience would be a distinct advantage but not essential



***NOTE*** Full training will be given to the successful candidate so we welcome both miller and turners from a variety of high precision industries with varied machine experience.
