An ADAS Lead Engineer is required to work for a leading automotive OEM. The position will be a long term contract role based in Gaydon, Warwickshire and is paying a rate of up to £28.00 Ltd Co per hour.

The role of ADAS Lead Engineer is based within the ADAS Core Engineering group in Electrical Engineering, the ADAS Core group is responsible to complete all the system engineering deliverables required to design and deliver driver assistance features based on video, radar and ultrasonic technologies such as Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Automatic High Beam control, Intelligent Emergency Braking, Traffic Sign Recognition, Intelligent Speed Limiter, Rear View, Junction View, Cross Traffic Alert, 360 degree Plan View, Lane Change Merge Aid, Park Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Jam Assist, Highway Assist

To apply for this position you should have some of the following:

  • Experience in Automotive Engineering
  • Experience in Driver Assistance Systems or comparable complex systems (e.g. Infotainment, Chassis Control, Powertrain)
  • Driven by passion for the automotive product
  • UK Driving licence or equivalent
  • A good working knowledge of PCDS, Change Control, Product Definition and Change Management processes are essential
  • Ability to lead the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment
  • Ideally degree educated
