To apply for this role you will have a degree and a proven track record in vehicle electrical design. Knowledge of automotive processes with problem solving experience. Understanding of various multiplex networks (MOST/CAN/Lin Mux).

Power supply management with intelligent charging systems and understanding of the potential impact of Hybrid controls on the electrical architectures. Good understanding of quality processes for software construction and delivery.

Diagnostics and system control components (ECUs, sensors and actuators. Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Experience in design verification activities. Must be technically capable and practical with the ability to understand complex requirements and translate them into clear specifications.

Would also be interested in speaking with candidates who have experience with other electrical components such as Body Controllers / Instrument Packs / LSM / HeVAC Controllers / Harnesses / EDS / Switches / SAT NAV / ICE. Software - CANalyser / CANoe / OBD / OSEK / Matlab / Simulink
