Description
Our client, Jaguar Land Rover, is a market leading Automotive
Manufacturer of high volume, luxury and off-road vehicles, designing and
manufacturing in the Midlands. We require an Infotainment Advanced
Technology Specialist to provide technical leadership in the development
of open architectures and capable communications buses for the research
department to ensure that a competitive infotainment system can be
delivered in the future.
Job Requirements
The successful applicant will:
1.Provide technical strategic leadership
in the following key areas, logical architecture, physical architecture,
communications bus.
2.Create technology roadmaps, competitive
benchmarking data, attribute futuring and gap analysis relating to
infotainment systems.
3. Work closely with the Infotainment attribute
team and Electrical Engineering, especially the Infotainment team in
order to initiate and lead advanced research projects to the company`s
internal technology gateway system, leveraging resources of universities
and suppliers (Small Medium Enterprises and Tier1).
4.Develop and deploy
best-in-class techniques and processes relevant to infotainment
architectures and communication buses (including but not limited to
MOST, CAN and Flexray.
5. Provide technical leadership.
6. Work closely
with Purchasing Group to help resolve any commercial roadblocks.
