Details
- Qualified in an appropriate scientific discipline, for example Chemistry. Higher degree preferred.
- Expertise in of power storage batteries, preferably gained in an automotive or related field.
- Understanding of the automotive environment.
- Ability to translate vehicle use cases into requirements for the battery and battery management system.
- Battery simulation and integration expertise.
- Strong background in power storage (battery) and intelligent power management technologies.
- Electrical feature requirements (power level, profile and redundancy) and their impact to vehicle attributes.
- Battery system development process (simulation, component sizing and selection, packaging, cooling, climatic tests, sign off and problem solving).
- Internal and external user usage profile (from manufacturing to end-customer to end-of-life)

The role demands a high level of knowledge of the vehicle electrical architecture and electrical features.
