Description
This is an Automotive job that would appeal to an Automotive
Engineer with specialist background in Diesel Engine Combustion and
Control. Our client Jaguar Land Rover, is a market leading
Automotive Manufacturer of high volume, luxury and off-road
vehicles. Their expansion plans have created a new position for a
Diesel Engine Combustion Technical Specialist.
Job Requirements
Take the lead in defining the targets for new diesel combustion
systems for Stage VI emissions and beyond.
Lead the technical development of the combustion system through in house and agency collaboration. Including analysis, flow rig and experimental single and multi cylinder engine testing.
Define, manage and set up the
facilities required to support such work both in house and supported
by agencies and academia. To take the lead in combustion and related
technical discussions with technical partners.
Details
Degree or equivalent qualified, Candidates will have significant
experience of advanced diesel combustion development with a major
European OEM or Consultancy. Ideally with knowledge of diesels for
the USA passenger car market. Must be able to manage a small team as
well as outsourced consultancy and work with academic institutions
and suppliers.
