Owner Managed SME business that required help overseeing a difficult financial situation which resulted in complete review and analysis of product cost and implementation of a new business development strategy.

  • Interim Managing Director – Automation/Robotics - £750/day
Due to retirement, a precision automation business (part of a global business) were looking to replace their previous MD. Finding someone at executive level with specific industry experience, the candidate ultimately took the role on a permanent basis

  • Interim Lean Consultant – Construction / Utilities - £640/day 
Management consultancy that were looking for a Lean Construction Specialist with specific experience of the UK Utility sector. A suitable candidate was quickly found due to our knowledge of Lean and our in-depth list of Lean Six Sigma practitioners.

  • Permanent Managing Director - Defence Manufacturing - £110k basic + benefits 
A PE backed defence manufacturing business required a new a new Managing Director to lead the business forward over the next 5-years and beyond with a focus on strategy, change and new business development growth.

  • Permanent Business Development Director – Marine & Defence Manufacturing - £75k + benefits 
With a focus on specialist marine defence equipment, the role of Business Development Director was to target and lead the strategic identification and growth of new sales for this small family business.

  • Interim ERP Project Manager – General Engineering - £500/day 
Very successful family owned business with a specific requirement for crisis management of a business critical ERP implementation. The project was severely behind schedule and required a strong delivery focussed project manager to get things back on track.

  • Interim Continuous Improvement Specialist – Electronics - £530/day 
Management consultancy looking for an experienced CI specialist with knowledge of the Electronics sector and agile scrum project methodology.

  • Interim Operations Manager – Automotive First Tier - £500/day 
JIT sequence assembly facility that required an experienced operations professional to oversee the introduction of a new product. It was essential to find an Interim Manager with specific OEM experience for a project that had run into difficulties.

  • Permanent Business Development Manager - Aviation Products – £70k basic + benefits. 
To develop further growth for a traditionally industrial and power generation business operating within the civil aerospace sector. This new role for was developed to expand the relationship with existing clients as well as to promote and grow new business opportunities.

  • Managing Director – Automotive Tier 1 – Permanent
Due to an internal restructure and promotion, this highly confidential role was undertaken against tight deadlines. Our knowledge of the sector and personal contacts enabled a suitable senior executive to be identified who joined the business as Managing Director.

  • Interim Projects Director – Electronics Services Sector - £500/day 
An urgent requirement for a business in distress and experiencing severe difficulties with multiple projects failing to hit key deadlines. An appropriate experienced candidate was quickly found who stabilised the situation and regained the trust of key clients.

  • Interim 4IR Consultant – Construction, European Funded Project - £550/day
Having tried to recruit for this position themselves the client was under a tight deadline to find a suitable candidate with specialist automation and advanced robotics experience. Our increasing knowledge of IoT, 4IR and data analytics enabled us to find a great candidate for the client.


  • Interim Projects Manager – Utilities - £450/day 
A technically adept project manager with knowledge of the utility sector and remote monitoring equipment was needed to help this business deliver projects in a new market sector. The candidate from the Energy/Power sector established a new revenue stream for the company

  • Interim SAP Consultant – Automotive Tier 1 – £450/day 
A major supplier of materials had a critical deadline to achieve which took internal resource away from a SAP implementation. With specific knowledge of SAP, SD, MM, PP modules required, a candidate was found who, 8 months later, is still on assignment with the business.

  • Interim Warehousing & Logistics Manager - Industrial Products - £350/day 
One of our previous Interim Managers secured a role as Interim MD and quickly identified the need to overhaul the warehousing and logistics function of this industrial products business.

  • Interim Deputy Technical Director – OFTO, Wind Power - £650/day 
Due to a previous relationship with the Technical Director and a thorough understanding of this power transmission OFTO, we were asked to find a senior technical specialist. With an asset register valued in £b’s this was a difficult but challenging role. The successful candidate was able to add real value to the business from day one.

  • Interim Operations Manager – Aerospace - £500/day
Due to the previous job holder leaving the business at short notice, this was an urgent request. As a specialist precision CNC business it was critical to find someone who understood the industry and the precision CNC technology employed.

  • Interim Solutions Architect – Teamcentre PLM - £550/day 
Working for an international consultancy business we were asked to find a solutions architect with experience and knowledge of Teamcentre PLM (product lifecycle management) software. Still working for the business the candidate has added a skill set that the client was struggling to find.

  • Interim Supply Chain Director – Industrial Lighting - £850/day 
An international business required an experienced Supply Chain Executive to undertake a global review of their business. This two year assignment would have a major impact on the business resulting in a global strategy that would shape the company over a period of business transformation

  • Interim Business Transformation Director – Public Sector - £1200/day 
This Public Sector organisation had a large Engineering Maintenance & Civils operation that was being moved into a private ownership. This was a big transformation project that required a very senior business Director to take control of the business through this period of change.

  • Interim Supply Chain Director – Architectural Emergency Access Equipment - £500/day 
A new MD recognised that a major weakness in the business was within the Supply Chain function. Having taken on an experienced Supply Chain Interim, the change was dramatic and as part of this role an internal candidate was highlighted who, with training, has taken over as the Supply Chain Manager.

  • Interim Service Delivery Manager – National Transport Business - £400/day 
A transport business had moved into a HQ and wanted an independent view on their national maintenance and service delivery centre. This was a short term assignment with a specific output in the form of a business strategy taking into account all of the UK service centres.

This international supplier of specialist high-value products work with a range of OEMs. Having moved production to Eastern Europe, they needed help overcoming a critical phase of production with a new prestigious client.

An owner managed business having experienced a rapid period of growth recognised that they needed specialist HR help. In particular, this assignment required strategic input from a HR Director with experience of Change and Transformation Management.

  • Interim Marketing Director – High-End Marine Products - £530/day 
A very interesting and challenging assignment for a new start up business manufacturing bespoke products for the high net worth individual marine sector. The position was unusual as the company were looking for an experienced Marketing Director from the automotive sector.

Having been hit hard by the slump in the oil and gas sector, this business recognised they needed to diversify. With a reputation for precision machined products manufactured from exotic alloys the company had a specific assignment for an experienced aerospace quality professional.

  • Interim Operations Director – Textiles - £560/day
Family owned business looking to transform its manufacturing capability. With a very traditional functional process base set up, the company were looking for an Operations Director to help them transform the business along modern lean manufacturing principles.

  • Interim Quality Director – Automotive - £850/day
Head office requirement for specialist producer of advanced body-in-white products. This role required knowledge and experience of working with high-performance vehicle OEMs on an international basis.

  • Interim Operations Director – FMCG - £550/day
Supplier of in-store furniture, this business had real issues delivering OTIF against customer schedules. An experienced Managing Director was found who quickly hit the ground running and established the main problem centred on the up front planning and scheduling capability of the business.

Traditional furniture manufacturer looking at creating a strategic business plan who required a Supply Chain Manager for a short term assignment looking at a range of supply options for a new product line.
