An opportunity has arisen for a Lean Engineer to work with a worldwide specialist in Power Conversion, providing customized solutions to convert electrical energy through optimum application of technology in drives, controls, motors and generators. Its customers operate in four main markets: Marine, Oil & Gas, Energy and IndustryJob Requirements
As Lean Engineer you will act as a change agent in the implementation of demand flow technology, using lean tools and methodologies. You will establish and implement team strategies, programs and practices to achieve world class manufacturing inventory turns and process flow. You will develop value stream maps for the product lines, promote lean six sigma integration and encourage the use of lean tools.Further Details
You will ideally be qualified to HNC level in Mechanical Engineering, with knowledge of world class manufacturing techniques and SPC knowledge. You will have experience working as a Manufacturing Engineer in a high volume production environment, with some project management experience.
