They are looking to appoint an Applications Engineer who will report to the Global Sales Director and will present the Company's software solutions to existing and prospective customers
Write sales proposals based on customer requirements
Plan and work out seminar concepts and training for customer base
Deliver training sessions on client premises
Represent the company at events and fairs
Travel to meet customers and prospective customers, must be willing to travel extensively
Work closely with the sales, marketing and technical departments
2:1 Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering, perhaps post-graduate qualified. Preferably chartered status.
Good knowledge of the usage of CAE Technologies
Ability to demonstrate and communicate software solutions to the customer
Advanced interpersonal and presentation skills
Understanding of automotive and transmission design an advantage
Experience in a customer facing role preferred
Can demonstrate knowledge of the issues surrounding drivelines and transmissions
