We have been supplying contract staff to our clients for over 20 years and despite very significant changes in the way our services are delivered our aim remains the same; to provide our clients with the very best flexible resource when they need it, where they need it, with the minimum of administrative burden and to the highest professional standards.

The legal framework that surrounds the provision of contract staff is both complex and ever changing, particularly in the area of employment related risks. It is for this reason that we retain the services of one of the country’s top legal practices to advise us on developments in the market both generally and specifically. We also invest significantly to keep our own staff up to date as changes in legislation and best practice occur.

We supply contractors (alternatively these may be referred to as temporary or interim staff) to our clients through a variety of channels, all designed to ensure they are not exposed to co-employment or similar risks. We are happy to supply clients with single contractors through to entire project teams. We are also happy to migrate contractors clients employ themselves or through numerous agencies onto our books as single entities to both streamline administration and costs.

Contractor Welfare

Beyond supplying the best contractors our aim is to provide clients with a hassle free use of the resource. Once the contractor has started all that we ask is that their timesheet is approved on the frequency agreed and we will take care of the rest. We have a dedicated welfare team whose role it is to keep in regular contact with the contractor and to resolve any issues that arise. In the unlikely event of performance issues we will step in and do our best to solve the problem. In short we wish our clients to be able to enjoy the benefit of using a contractor services without experiencing any of the problems sometimes associated with full time staff.


Managed Service

In addition to piecemeal supply of contractors we also offer a full Managed Service approach whereby we take over the management of a clients entire contract book. This can range from filling all of their requirements either ourselves or through our extensive second tier supply base, managing their existing base of suppliers, pay rolling existing contractors, migrating contractors they engage directly to avoid co-employment issues through to single invoice billing arrangements. In short, we seek first to understand what our client is seeking to achieve and then set about working in partnership with them to achieve such. We do not believe in a “one cap fits all” approach, our solutions are tailor made to achieve what our client wants; in our experience there are always important subtle differences and our approach is to accommodate not ignore them.


Contractor Retention

Of course contractors are by nature transient souls, moving from one job to another with surprising regularity. We pride ourselves in our retention levels; we seek the very best contractors, reward their loyalty with excellent service levels and by seeking out for them the very best contracts with the very best clients. At the beginning of each contract we try to agree with our clients the likely duration of a contract and to ensure such duration is reconciled with the contractors personal circumstances. Our aim is to ensure that the contractor is not just there at the start of the contract but at its conclusion thus achieving a “win/win” for both parties.


Temp to Perm

Occasionally contractors we supply end up being offered Permanent roles by our clients. Some recruitment agencies resent this as they feel it deprives them of a future income stream from that contractors services. We on the other hand are flattered as we feel it demonstrates that we got the quality of the contractor we placed absolutely right. If we can do this then we have done our job.
