Candidate Commitment Policy
As A Candidate You Commit To:
- When you send your CV and personal details to JLR, we take this as confirmation from you that it is accurate and not misleading.
- Provide relevant contact details including address, home and mobile telephone numbers where applicable; email addresses and location requirements.
- Let us know if there are specific companies that you do/do not wish JLR to consider you for.
- As and when JLR contact you with details of opportunities or interview arrangements please respond in a timely and appropriate manner, advising at the earliest opportunity if appointments are inconvenient.
- Inform us at your earliest opportunity, of any changes to your CV (whether personal or professional) including new qualifications/experience/salary etc., which we need to ensure we consider you for relevant opportunities.
- Complete an ‘Information Update Form’ once every 12 months as a minimum.
- Let us know when you are no longer looking for a job.

- Retain your details on our live register until such time as
- A) You request their removal in writing
- B) We deem in accordance with the Data Protection Act, that sufficient time has
- elapsed for your job search to have been completed.
- At such point in time, your details will be transferred to our dormant register.
- Acknowledge receipt of any updated information that you send to us.
- Nominate a relevant consultant to consider your details and whose contact details will be made available to you at the outset.
- Use your CV and associated personal information for the purposes of considering you for suitable jobs. Your information will not be disclosed to a 3rd party until we have discussed the details with you and gained your permission to put your details forward.
- Handle and process your information fairly and lawfully and in accordance with the 8 Principles of good practice (see the Legal section of our main JLR website for more information).
- Agree to provide relevant feedback to you when
- A) We have put your details forward for a job opportunity
- B) You have attended an interview with one of our clients
- Following successful placement with a client company, we will contact you once within the first 3 months to ensure a satisfactory transition has been completed. After this, it is a JLR policy that we will not contact you further and your details will be transferred to our dormant register.
