Contingency Recruitment
This is the “No solution, no fee” approach to finding candidates for a particular role. The service is comparable to that offered by most of the recruitment industry in the UK – A simple database search followed by the submission of potentially suitable candidates to the client. The client makes the final selection and we arrange and co-ordinate interviews as a middleman. The fee is charged on the start date of the chosen candidate.
In line with our business ethic, we endeavour in all cases to gain an in-depth understanding of the role and how it relates to the client organisation. Frequently, the brief is taken at a face-to-face meeting to ensure that our consultant have a very clear understanding of the requirement and the customer expectations.
Once a clear brief has been obtained, the database is interrogated to find a pool of potentially suitable candidates. This is supplemented by free of charge advertising on our own website (which carries high levels of traffic) as well as other online jobs boards and web sites appropriate to the nature of the role in question.
Web responses are collated with suitable database candidates, and all are then screened via a telephone interview to ensure true conformance to the customer’s requirement. Only those candidates who present the closest match to the specification are forwarded to the client, most often in competition with candidates from other sources including rival recruitment consultancies.
Interviews are arranged and we will act as a professional intermediary through the offer and acceptance process, as well as providing support to the candidate to the point of commencement. After start date, we maintain this relationship with the candidate to support the probationary period.
We take the time to understand our candidates and are genuinely interested in what they do. Because we have their best interests at heart, there is a real sense of mutual trust in this relationship that results in clear communication in all directions and, ultimately, a closer match of needs and value added solutions to contingency recruitment problems.
