Kevin Harris
Kevin Harris served a four year indentured technical apprenticeship with Lucas Electrical Limited during which time he gained ONC and HNC qualifications in Mechanical and Production Engineering. At Lucas he worked within a variety of departments, including Quality, Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering before settling into Sales and Marketing. He supplemented his technical qualifications by completing a Certificate and Post Graduate Diploma in Sales and Marketing.
He joined Magneti Marelli UK where he reached the position of Senior Sales Engineer. Responsible for all Commercial and Application Engineering activities, he worked with many of the large vehicle constructors in the UK and overseas in particular Toyota and Nissan. He was also responsible for new project management interfacing with Quality, Manufacturing, Research/Development and Purchasing departments to ensure new project proposals were resourced and scheduled correctly. After leaving Magneti Marelli he worked in the electronics sector as a Territory Manager for Bourns Electronics who manufacture passive electronic components.
