Ian Bryson
Ian qualified in Mechanical Engineering at Trent Polytechnic, Nottingham, before joining British Aerospace as a Quality Engineer in 1991. During his time at British Aerospace, he travelled to Japan to train in Lean Manufacturing principles and progressed to Kaizen Manager with responsibility for Continuous improvement within a large machining facility for the Airbus family.
In 1996 he joined Allied Signal, now Honeywell, as a Manufacturing Engineer and was trained as a Six Sigma Black Belt while co-ordinating a worldwide team to improve the manufacture of precision machined parts, used in turbochargers
In 1998 he joined Hurel Dubois, now Aircelle as Manufacturing Engineering Manager to create cultural change throughout the factory, which he did in conjunction with the SMMT and SBAC industry forum engineers.
Ian joined Jonathan Lee Recruitment in 2001 to support the continued growth and diversification of the Northern Office is now the Managing Consultant for the permanent team.
