Garry Oliver
Garry started work as a Production Engineer & Management Trainee back in 1971 at a large local South Yorkshire engineering concern. Over the years he had several positions with the company including roles in Quality and Marketing.
He then moved on to manage his own import company for several years, during this period he travelled extensively in the Far East before taking up a role in a recruitment company dealing with blue collar & industrial personnel for the engineering & construction industries in Thailand and Singapore.
In the late 90’s he returned to the UK where he took on a role with PHDS Limited in 2000 until the acquisition by JLR in 2005. He covers the North of England and Scotland regions, supplying technical engineering personnel on a contract and permanent basis.
His sector knowledge covers heavy engineering oil & gas, utilities, general manufacturing in functions such as design, project and planning.
